Welcome to the Website and Email Assistance special website for members of Independent Order of Odd Fellows under the Jurisdiction of Ontario. This website was designed to assist those members who have volunteered to help their Lodge/District out by maintaining their website. We have tried to keep this as simple as we can and we are assuming everybody is new to Word Press (the software used to design and maintain the websites). If you have experience with this Software already, you might not need this area of the website but it is always here for you to relate back to.
We cant put every trick and tip on here because there are so many of them. This is only a basic guide to help you out. If you know of a trick or tip that should be on here, please send us the information (Please use the ‘Contact Us’ page and we will get it posted on here very quickly.
When we had discussions with Members and Grand Lodge Officers as what they thought we needed and wanted – the same answer was heard many times – A quick way to spread information!
After listening to the feedback, the Grand Lodge Executive decided that email and websites are the way to go. So starting for the 2018 – 2019 term of offices, EVERY LODGE and EVERY DISTRICT LODGE has had an email and website setup for them.
